Just got out of a planning meeting for this after I dropped the ball for about a month, but apparently by reaching out I solved some logistical problems just by providing another persona, so hey, rock on. If you’re local, you should come play. If you do, you’ll probably survive long enough to see me on the course.

Although this doesn’t explain where the Thompson Twins got their name, so I cannot after all these years answer my uncle, who once asked me when I was watching MTV why they were called that when none of them were actually related. Geez, Uncle, my six-year-old self just wanted to get his new wave on. Call it in.

the dialog has been translated into English for you
if it's universal translators, then why does chekov have an accent?
accents are kept.. for some.. reason..
Maybe he's trying to speak english?
And the UT is like, "WTF are you saying?"
It might have an easier time if he stuck to Russian
so... if he just spoke russian..

There's a bug in the translator.
It switches the Vs and Ws.
But WAIT
if he WAS speaking Russian,

Probably be some delay, as the UT tries to process the context of what was said, too
maybe he just pissed off the UT one day, so it stopped translating for him :)
