Origami D&D miniatures. No lie. Crazy excellent.
Recurring themes: LGBT issues, San Francisco tidbits, ukuleles, pirates, games, absurdism. I won't really talk about myself here, but you'll get a sense of me, anyway.
A 7au.net/Tumblr joint. Check out a random post, or you can say hi at jaschu at the gmail in the neighborhood of the dotted com. What little original content there is © Copyright 2007-2010 but, cripes, just ask first and I'll probably be cool. Righto!

There. I said it. I wasn’t the only one saying it. MADtv was prescient by three and a half years.
I really don’t care what Apple is announcing today, but I realized this morning I missed a fun opportunity to make bumper stickers that said “HOLODECK OR BUST” which is how I feel about these things these days.

Presumably done as a tie-in to the then-upcoming, now-released King of RPGs manga. I need to pick up a copy, as I have writer Jason Thompson’s original mini-comic, which still cracks me up.
| Mom: | So... what is Twitter? |
| Me: | It's a way for people to send out short messages to their friends or followers, or whoever is reading them. There's a 140 character limit to what you can post, because it was originally designed with text messaging in mind. |
| Mom: | Oh, so it's like blogging, except you can't go on and on. |
| Me: | Yeah, but that doesn't stop some people. |
via sillycurlyhairedman. I heard about this movie from friends, looking to get a viewing together, so at some point in the near future I imagine a large group of queer gamers gathering and bobbing heads while watching this movie. Damn, that’s like… everything that makes me happy in one place, or almost everything.
I can vouch for this story because I was one of the four with her. On the drive back, as AdamD’s comment points out, we were trying to figure out why he didn’t make a simile involving the super burrito, which I mistakenly ordered thinking it was “burrito with lots of stuff in it,” not this truck’s majestic “this is really two burritos in the form of one huge long burrito, good luck with that.”

I love everything about this… except that the lead singer is 23 and he starts with “If I was young…” and I’m wonder what the “if” is. But so good, especially the ridiculous bits.
