I’ve seen this button going around Tumblr on several of my friends’ sites, and Brian’s take on it the closest to my own thoughts.
The problem is, I work with these things for a living, so I see this button and I parse the sentiment to be something like, “You make me look really good, but we had to work an extra week or two on that just so that around 70-75% of other people out there could even understand what we’re about, plus we had to publish an additional informational sheet for them because sometimes they’re such fucking idiots.”
Hey you know, on second thought, considering that there’s still a bunch of people out there who don’t get us gay folks, maybe that’s about right.
