In fact, there’s two things I would like to see happen, stemming from this image: 1) You remember that squirrel that got in the photo of those two campers? And then there was the automatic web toys that took your photo and edited the squirrel into it? I want one of those but it edits Jareth the Goblin King into it. Make it happen, Internet. 2) I’d like to see the Goblin King as some sort of boss in a Rock Band/Guitar Hero type game. You show up and suddenly there’s Jareth rocking a sinister power chord. He turns towards you and says, “You’re no match for me, Sarah.” You say, “Hey man, my name’s Jason,” and you proceed to duel it out with him. Halfway into the song, goblins come out of the crowd and knock you over, making you lose your bonus multiplier. “That’s not fair!” you cry. Jareth sneers at you. “You say that so often,” says he, “I wonder what your basis for comparison is.” To which you reply, “When I was battling that marionette version of Beck and he tried to spill beer on my amp to electrocute me. Fucking puppets.” The guitar battle would continue, and for the big finish, you strike a power fifth in Jareth’s face, shouting, “YOU HAVE NO POWER OVER ME!” Beating him at his own game, you unlock the achievement “Thin White Rebuke.” \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/
