“As a Christmas present to all my gamer friends I’d like to present you with Syobon (as I believe it translates to.) Basically some Asian person took the Mario level design concepts and made it comically difficult, replaced mario with a cat, and gave him/it infinite lives (even though I thought they had nine?) if the video intrigues you, play the game! You can download it here, or I’ve mirrored the file here. It works great on my system, (and yes I virus-scanned it) so give it a shot and let me know if you beat it. Don’t worry, I know you won’t. ;p I can’t wait to have my family and friends try this out. It’s hilarious.

“Also, if you enjoyed this video, check out the Mario Frustration series that’s scattered around the net. It’s just as funny. Cheers!”

This is mean. It’s like watching one bad accident after another. Totally cracking up though. The best bits of schadenfreude come when the player knows he or she is in a no-win situation, and just gives up.
