THE MAGICAL LAND OF SHRINKY DINKS

HOLY SHIT you can print your own Shrinky Dinks!

I don’t know if actual Shrinky Dinks are around anymore and how old you have to be to remember these things. But basically they were this awesome way to teach kids conspicuous consumption. Basically: You had magic paper printed with characters and stuff. You cut them out, put them on a cookie sheet, and popped them in the oven. They shrunk really small and came out hardened like plastic. Now apparently you can do this with any freaking image. Thanks, Devin, for the link!

About

Recurring themes: LGBT issues, San Francisco tidbits, ukuleles, pirates, games, absurdism. I won't really talk about myself here, but you'll get a sense of me, anyway.

A 7au.net/Tumblr joint. Check out a random post, or you can say hi at jaschu at the gmail in the neighborhood of the dotted com. What little original content there is © Copyright 2007-2010 but, cripes, just ask first and I'll probably be cool. Righto!
