At the end of the Badly Drawn Boy song I posted a few back, there’s a line that goes: Take a left, a sharp left and another left. I’ll meet you on the corner and we’ll start again. I thought that was just keeping in line with the title, “Once Around the Block.” Until I mulled the line around a bit and realized what it could also mean. Damon Gough, you are either one clever lyricist, or I’m secretly overly mushy on the inside.
