Shame on you, CNN. Ellen DeGeneres and Portia deRossi’s marriage this weekend was perfectly valid in the state of California. Why the scare quotes? They married, not “married”.
I’d expect this “journalism” and thinly veiled homophobia from Fox News, not CNN.

I totally missed this. Then again, I’ve been leery of CNN for a few years now.
