I found this looking to see what I could find of this song because today I rediscovered a CD I have of Kronos Quartet and Asha Bhosle performing Bollywood songs, and an instrumental version of Mehbooba Mehbooba was one of the tracks.

This is the original from the movie Sholay, and it’s way more delightful than I expected, because I can’t tell if these guys are hippies or pirates or both, and then it doesn’t matter because the local equivalent of the A-Team shows up and cranks the awesome to 11, what the fuck. I gotta rent this flick.
